No house should ever duplicate another
Not unlike the butterfly, of which no two are exactly alike, a house should reflect a client’s unique personality, physical requirements, design aspirations, budgetary concerns and an acknowledgement of its natural surroundings. It should have a complimentary structure, its own coloration, contour and shape informed by radiating influences of memory, culture, building materials and a site’s prerequisites. To achieve this, an architect, who draws as a way of thinking, will design solutions that meet this criteria, producing a new invention, for the pleasure and benefit of the client.
